Fin&Fly is rooted in my passion for “capturing the catch” and the story it carries. I partner with anglers, outdoorsmen, brands, boat owners, brides and more, to create art that transforms fleeting moments into lasting pieces.
I have a deep love for the little things. Clouds, birds and their flight patterns, fish scales, rainstorms, any storms really... I spring out of bed to catch a sunrise and I chase sunsets on a daily basis. These little moments make me feel something - they charge my soul. My goal is to capture these feelings in my art for others.
I am the middle of five children - my family is my everything. I spent most of my childhood outside of Chicago, moved to Florida, went to school in Boston, lived in NYC and am now planted in Bozeman, Montana.
I was always distracted by the little things - in large part due to my mother, who truly notices everything. She created a sense of wonder, curiosity, and appreciation for the small things that make life so energizing. Together we love Mary Oliver, a poet known for her awe-inspired observations of nature.
To cap off this bio, I will leave you with one of my favorites.
"Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it."
I guess you could say this is my way of "telling about it".
